Bella has lived in The Folly for two years now, arriving while on a run through the forest with her husband about six months after the Volturi left them to live their lives on an expanse of snowy field. The transition wasn't an easy one, but after a few months, she locked her family away in a corner of her mind in order to function without them. Now, with so much time past, the memories of her husband and daughter are dim ones that rarely surface into her every day life.

Because of her diet, she was charged as the town's game warden. She keeps any rogue predatory animals from getting too close to the residents on the outskirts of the city. Her role has evolved over time to cover any vampires living in the Folly.

Bella (she goes by her first name only) can usually be found keeping to the shadows if she's observing a vamp, but she doesn't hide what she is during the day. She'll walk down the middle of historic downtown in a tank top and shorts, letting her quartz-like skin throw prisms everywhere. She also mostly sticks to the vegetarian diet of her former family, but if she happens upon a human behaving badly, especially with a human girl, she will attack and she's not queasy about destroying the human (or draining what's left.) She's also a woman, and she has desires like any other. She doesn't have real relationships, but she's not celibate, or discriminating, either.
